Designing Public building puts one in direct conversation with the users, the communities and its leaders. Creating a physical space that works for the intended application and having it work well is terrifically satisfying. I would like to transfer these skills into improving our Ward, and helping it to work well, safely, cleanly, humanely, economically and beautifully.

The basic needs, concerns and questions of my neighbours should be heard and answered. The most common complaints are about sanitation, development, taxes, noise, and City Hall’s indifference. The deterioration of public service is symbolized by the empty information desk in the lobby at City Hall with a phone substituting for a courteous knowledgeable person.

I am running because Toronto City Hall should be a great place.

I believe that elected councillors, who speak for their constituents motivate city policy that reflects that citizens needs. So whoever is elected as mayor, and the choices are thin, it's best to have a passionate and local councillor working for you, for your community, for this great ward and great city.
